- Wario is "spiking" the punch, or adding a mind-altering substance to an otherwise benign beverage. Touching a Fuzzy in the Yoshi series causes a temporary effect similar to taking a hallucinogenic drug, hence its use here.
- The alt text is a reference to World 1-7 of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island: Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy, which first introduced the Fuzzy enemy.
